About Your Instructor – Leticia is a seasoned PMC artist, Certified PMC Instructor and a member of the PMC Guild and a Silversmith.

Class Descriptions:
Introduction to PMC – In one three hour session you will gain the knowledge of the art of jewelry making using PMC. It is a fun hands-on workshop where you decided what your every first creation will be a pendant, charm or earrings. You will learn the basic techniques of working with PMC, such as making a mold, what a stamped texture means, and simple finishing techniques before firing it in the kiln and so much more.
Cost of class is $50.00 plus $40.00 materials fee. The materials fee pays for class handouts, 1 package of PMC+, plus in-class use of all the necessary tools. (NOTE: materials fee many change depending on that day’s cost of silver).
Intermediate Techniques in PMC – In one six hour session you will have a quick review of basic PMC skills plus we will use PMC slip to create a beautiful leaf pendant. We will fire your pendant and then learn about liver of sulfur and how it will help you to create a lovely patina look to your Silver Leaf pendant.
Next you will learn the differences between hand finishing and machine finishing techniques. You will have a choice of creating an I.D. or Charm Bracelet, Earrings and another Pendant for a necklace, whatever the artist in you is inspired to create.
Cost of class is $100.00 plus $65.00 materials fee. The materials fee pays for class handouts and, 1 package of PMC+, 1 container of PMC+ Slip, plus in-class use of all the necessary tools. (NOTE: materials fee many change depending on that day’s cost of silver).
Optional – Should students wish to embellish their creations they may want to buy a gemstone to add sparkle to your beautiful one of kind jewelry?
What to Bring? A blow-dryer if possible and a Brown Bag Lunch (or lunch money).

BEFORE signing up for a class, please read the class policies and information below. By signing up, you are saying that you understood the policies and information which includes the cancellation policy. Questions – you can contact us at gemni@gem-n-iandcodesigns.com or by calling 602-997-7010.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
* Credit Cards On-line – Processed through PayPal, a secure site used for safely transferring money on-line.
*Personal Checks or U.S. Postal Money Order – Accepted, however class will not be scheduled until check or money order has cleared the bank, which is normally 10 days. (We are sorry for this, but we have found it works out best this way for all involved if we are going to continue to accept payment by personal checks and us postal money order.)
HOW TO REGISTER:
* Credit Cards Online – We accept credit card payments on-line only (through our website) using PayPal, a secure site used for safely transferring money on-line. There is no cost to you for using this service. To pay on-line using your credit card, visit the shop page and click on the classes tab and click on the “Buy Now” button associated with the class you want. You will then be directed to the PayPal website where you will receive further instructions. You can make an instant payment using your credit card without creating a PayPal account. Once your payment is processed, you will receive an e-mail from us confirming your registration and we will ask to schedule your class date. If you do not receive an e-mail confirming registration or you have sign-up for a class with less than five days notice, please call 602-997-7010 to confirm your enrollment.
*Personal Checks or U.S. Postal Money Order – Students paying by check or money order will complete the registration form attach your check or money order to Gem-n-i & Co. Designs, and mail in your payment to 7001 N. 16th Street PMB500, Phoenix, Arizona 85020. Once the bank has processed your payment which is normally 10 days, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and we will ask to schedule your class date.
REGISTRATION MISCELLANEOUS:
*To be able make this experience fun and rewarding, class size is 4 - 6 students depending on the class.
* Contact information is needed for all students: Full Name, Address, Phone Number(s), and e-mail address.
* By signing up, you are acknowledging that you have read the class policies and information document in it’s entirety, which includes our cancellation policy which describes the refund policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cannot attend a class that you committed to attend please refer to cancellation and refund policies below.
* No Credits – No Refunds For No Shows: If you sign up for a class and do not call or show up FOR ANY REASON, such as (you got the date/time wrong, car broke down, you are sick, had to work late, etc). The entire class fee is NONREFUNDABLE, NONTRANSFERABLE, and no FUTURE CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN – NO EXCEPTIONS. Theses classes involve a minimum materials cost and considerable preparation time for the instructor. (We are sorry but we feel this is only fair).
* Half Credit Option: If you need to cancel (for any reason) and you call us at 602-997-7010 with at least 48 hours (but less than 4 days before the class). You are eligible for a HALF CREDIT of your class fee to use for any future class less the $10.00 change fee. NOTE – This is not a refund, it is a half credit towards another class.
* Class Cancellation (if we cancel): If enrollment is below the minimum of 4 students, the instructor has the right to cancel the class one week before the class. If a class is canceled, you will be notified using the phone number(s) and or e-mail that you gave when signing up for class. You will receive a full refund or a credit towards the same class on a future date.
* Rescheduling Options: If you sign up for a class and need to change the date for any reason, there is a $10.00 change fee for the administrative work that goes into changing class, reconfirming and attempting to fill your space. This option is good as long as you call 602-997-7010 with at least 4 days notice before the scheduled class and the rescheduled class is taken within a month from the original class date.
* No Refunds: All payments are nonrefundable (i.e., we do not offer refunds).
WHAT TO BRING:
*Although we will normally provide you with the equipment you need for the class. There may be a possibility that your instructor will ask you to bring something to class which will help you in creating your beautiful one of a kind piece of jewelry. When this occurs you may receive a phone call or an e-mail letting know you. Please make sure that we have the best and most current contact information.
CLASS LOCATION:
* The class location is in my workshop located at 7001 N. 23rd Place, Phoenix, Arizona 85020. Please research and print out directions before the day of the class as you many not be able to reach someone by phone the day of the class. Students can park on the street in front of building and although this area of Phoenix is considered to be a safe area, as a common sense reminder please don’t leave any valuables in view in your car.
MINIMUN AGE & KIDS CLASSES:
*Although our classes are designed for adults, we have had young people as young as 14 attend with an adult. If you feel your child is mature enough to attend a class with you, please call to discuss it with us before signing up. We offer private parties if you have a group of young people who want to schedule a class for a special occasion. If interested contact us with as much advance notice as possible.
